Quantum Safe IoT needs Quantum Safe MQTT 

Quantum Safe MQTT project started in 2022 as a collaboration between Blue Mesh  Solutions  and others to add security to the Port of Felixstowe 5G project. 

Blue Mesh used  Symmetric Key method and adapted it for use within the MQTT communications framework.   

Our first version was built in Python using Mosquito MQTT.

But our latest version is being written in C++ and is ready to demonstrate as a C++ Paho deployment.

SKA Platform™ is a unique quantum-safe symmetric key agreement encryption platform, which allows Quantum Safe communication between networked device or cloud machines secure against current and future forms of attack – even from a quantum computer.. 

Blue Mesh used a Symmetric Key method and adapted it for IoT devices in an MQTT or in fact any publish > subscribe model. 

The keys generated are computationally secure, optionally one-time use and zero-trust. 

SKA Platform can create limitless volumes of keys in limitless group sizes and can regulate the secure entrance and exit of a device in a group.
